How Can The Course Help me?

Understanding

It helps someone to understand themselves and why they do certain things that may drive unhealthy patterns of behaviour and addiction.

Tools

iRest® offers tools and practices that naturally help to regulate a dysregulated nervous system caused by trauma and unpleasant experiences.

care

Inner Safety

Become your own loving parent and caring inner voice of kindness and compassion. These practices can help someone to respond maturely to life situations rather than reacting from a hurt inner child or wounded place and a dysregulated nervous system.

Freedom

The courses helps someone to understand the law of opposites in thoughts, feelings and emotions. This can help violent angry people recognise the polarities they are caught up in to then find the opposite and a sense of calmness, peace and compassion.

Yoga pose

Meditation

Inspired by meditation, these practices can help someone to develop a connection to an undamaged part of themselves. A part of us that is free from the prison of the mind, free from the trap of difficult thoughts and feelings or unpleasant emotions.

Integration

The courses and practices explore the relationship between thoughts, feelings, emotions and the connection with the body and the breath and help align with that. It can help someone to understand themselves better in order to change their internal negative view of the world based on their core limiting beliefs they have formed from their past by challenging them.

What Students Say

This has been a life changing experience and enabled me to deal with past trauma and to see myself and the world for how it is. Grateful beyond words of the clear way Paul teaches these steps and the beautiful meditations which I use frequently, a toolbox for life, physically, mentally, emotionally allowing a freedom within to be released, a safety within whoever and wherever you are, regardless of your situation. It s an ongoing part of my life now.

Paul’s teaching style gives you the opportunity to dive deeper into the iRest® practice with nurturing & heart felt support. He allows you to go at your pace and rhythm, whilst giving opportunities & space to ask questions.

The Benefits Of Doing The Course Online

The pre-recorded material allows someone to go at their own pace as there is a lot of material and information to digest. But doing it regularly over 8 weeks can help to develop discipline with practicing.

The course is experiential, realising that deeper change occurs through practicing and feeling rather than just having an intellectual concept of it.

Who Is The Course For?

Anyone looking to deepen an understanding of themselves, especially with regards any unhealthy patterns of behaviour they are caught up in and reactive states they want and need to change and manage.

It is tailored for people in addiction recovery, but is suitable for anyone wanting to heal trauma, past hurt and pain that is driving unhealthy patterns of behaviour.

For people doing a 12-step programme of recovery it can help to deepen a connection to a higher power and becoming your own loving parent, exploring their step 11 work.

It does not matter if you are new to meditation, a very experienced meditator or somewhere in-between, it is the attitude of honesty and curiosity with a willingness to explore your experience that is important.
